YES. Finally! New camera has arrived!! Very excited. But... as the title of this journal might suggest... there is a twist. A slight downer on an otherwise joyous occasion. You see, I haven't actually payed for it yet. D: Mum and dad did. And, just as I was opening the box... Mum: "Oh and you do realise you can't use it until you pay us back for it." Me: O_O;;; "WHAT. But.. but.. but.. we're still repaying the mortgage on this house, and yet we're using it!" Mum: "Abbie, there's no arguing about it.. we've already decided." huff. BUT. I was allowed to test it out! And it is GREAT! no, great's too small a word. It's TERRIFIC! I love it. s

Yes, thats right deviantart. I am getting a new camera! A digital, SLR, oh-so-much-better camera. :D :D :D I think I might just explode from the excitement. The only downside is, it's costing me. $1000. :s It WAS going to be closer to $800, buut.. the seller on Ebay didn't specify how much the posting would cost. So, thats a lesson learnt. Never buy something on Ebay when the seller says "Postage cost to be confirmed" hmmm. Woops. :( But still. EXCITEMENT! It will be worth the money. I am back from Queensland! it was spectacularly amazing. :D took lots of photos. will upload some now. dropped my camera whilst snorkelling D: !!!!!!! but dont fret. all is good. we got a diver guy to go down six metres and get it back. luckily it is intact, although it is only supposed to go up to three meters in depth. ._. woops. anyway. lots of interesting sights and experiences! went horseriding along the beach, saw the great barrier reef, went to a different beach every day and am now rather tanned, had a parrot land on my head.. it was a really good holiday. :D so that is all the news from me. back to badminton and school no
